Clothes Combat
A downloadable game for Windows
An ultra-light Doom-style shooter with pixel art and t-shirt cannons: Truly what you've spent all day on the internet looking for.
Clothes Combat is a 6 person, local multiplayer shooter that sets you against five other players in an abandoned mall, each of you wielding a t-shirt cannon and hoping to pin your color on one another. As you cover more (former) friends in your colored t-shirt, you'll rack up points, before the round ends, or someone else gets there first.
How Do I Play:
- Left stick moves your character
- Right stick turns your camera
- right bumper to charge and fire your t-shirt cannon
What Systems?
- Clothes Combat is made for Windows systems only at the moment but hopefully in the near future you get a windows system so you can play it too.
What do I need?
- Five friends, six controllers, and one tv to share (we don't condone screen peeking but we won't necessarily make a fuss over it)
Who are you?
While we don't have an official team name (We couldn't decide between Dye-ing inside or Shirts Only), here's some of the members of our team!
- Adam Cohen: Level Design and Environmental Art
- Angel Rodriguez: Programmer
- Joseph Schmittau: Emerald Joe
- Trey Atwood: Emerald Joe Creationist
Who am I?
- This is going too far.
What are the expected plans/updates/changes to this game?
- Nothing is planned at the moment but in the future we're considering creating more levels and expanding the game.
Why did you make this?
- Okay, kinda rude but sure: We were inspired by the visual style of the original DOOM game and wanted to make something similar to its shader (blame Angel for this), so we decided to make an arena shooter. In an attempt to stay faithful we kept the same character animation style and pixel art environments.
This game was made for the UCF vs USF 2018 summer game jam with love (and tears) by our team.
